Description:
[Fagus sylvatica] or [Fagus sylvatica]-[Abies borisii-regis] forests, characterized like those of unit 41.161 (Corine) by their reduced medio-European character and high endemism, isolated, west of the main Pindian range of Hellenic beech forests, in mountains of the Chassia and Olympus groups, in particular in the Andichasia, Olympus and Pieria ranges.
