Description:

Shrub communities of nemoral affinities. They include deciduous and evergreen scrubs or brushes of the nemoral zone, and deciduous scrubs of the submediterranean and supramediterranean zones. Excluded are heathlands with dominant [Ericaceae] F4, and the typically mediterranean maquis F5, garrigue F6 and phrygana F7.
