Description:
The exterior part of caves, including the twilight zone where light penetrating from the outer world is sufficient to permit human vision.
The flora of cave entrances is often similar to that of the adjacent local vegetation, differing only in minor respects where air currents of different temperature occur. Occasionally, animals can be found like the amphibians [Bufo bufo], [Rana graeca], [Rana dalmatica] etc.
