Description:
Fumaroles and solfataras of the areas of active volcanism of the eastern Mediterranean basins, in particular, of the Aegean and the Levantine Sea. In the Aegan archipelagos these biotopes are found in the south volcanic arc and includes volcanic features found in Sousaki, Methana, Poros, Milos, Nisyro, Santorini, Kos, Aigina, etc.
