Description:

Strongly thermophile acidophilous [Quercus petraea] forests of the peri-Pannonic hills and of the Illyrian basins of the Drava and Sava, constituting a transition between the slightly thermophilous submeridional forests of unit 41.57 and the thermophilous oak sub-Mediterranean or steppe forests of unit 41.7.
