Description:

[Quercus pyrenaica] forests of siliceous supra-Mediterranean areas with sub-humid climate of the western Sierra Nevada, the Sierra de Alfacar, the northern flancs of the Sierra de Cazulas and the Sierra Tejeda; in more humid locations [Fraxinus angustifolia] and [Acer granatense] accompany [Quercus pyrenaica].
