Very open grasslands of mobile or poorly fixed sands of Atlantic and sub-Atlantic Europe, dominated by [Corynephorus canescens], sometimes by [Leymus arenarius] or [Carex arenaria]; most are dunal and relate to other subunits of unit E1.9 (E1.94-E1.9E).
